Is the dial flat or textured?
The dial is not flat. It has a physically sculpted structure with real depth. It is not 3D-printed — the geometry is precisely manufactured and then hand-finished to achieve clean edges and controlled reflections.
Does the 3D dial look the same in real life as in photos?
Not exactly. Because of the dial’s depth and surface geometry, it reacts to light and wrist movement. Photos can’t fully capture the reflections and visual effect you experience when wearing the watch.
Will the dial colors change depending on light?
Yes. Depending on sunlight, indoor lighting, and viewing angle, the colors subtly shift. This interaction with light is an intentional part of the dial’s three-dimensional design.
Can I customize the watch design?
Yes. You can customize the case color, dial color, dial design, and strap using the Volumenzeit online configurator to create a watch that reflects your personal style.
Can I add engraving to my watch?
Yes. You can engrave the case back and selected straps. Available options include text, symbols, patterns, and — in some cases — custom graphics or images. For technical limits and recommendations, please refer to our engraving guidelines.
Is the strap easy to change?
Yes. The watch uses a quick-release strap system, allowing you to change straps easily without tools.
